Why do people create a site using programming languages if they can easily design it on websites like Wix?

we start with registering a domain name. then wix takes care of the website www.yourdomain.com
but you might also want a mail server with it. mail.yourdomain.com
then a shop.yourdomain.com and so on.
you need to make it a secure website, so each domain can be called with https://
this are some starting points why wix isn’t working for more than basic websites
