Why do planes shake when landing?

I know they turn on the reverse thrusters when landing, could that be why?
Runway surfaces can be uneven or rough and aircraft tires are not balanced. Unlike car tires, aircraft don’t spend thousands and thousands of miles droning down the road on their tires. That, coupled with unnecessary foreign object debris in the form of wheel weights that could detach from wheels under high centripetal loads, (best to just leave them off, eh?) makes take-off and landing a bit vibey.
