You don’t need to be rich to be clean. I can understand infrastructure issues and other government things but when you look at the rivers and streets there should be no reason they are that polluted with blatant trash like bottles wrappers plastic clothes etc.
Surely they can see what there doing? Indian people are some of the smartest people around. So why is it?

Theres also cultural differences that needs to be taken into consideration. Some places are uneducated and don’t know the consequences of pollution and poor hygene
