Without going into too much detail, if we were too lenient with our resource use, it could be very hard to correct the system back to where it should be. And oftentimes it is, as is the case with immune dysregulation.

Not to mention the fact that bodies are extremely resource intensive to keep alive, we don’t want to be wasteful with our internal resources if we don’t need to be, which is why we have so many systems influencing and cross talking with others. Checks and balances.
