Each of the colors on the flag has a meaning: Red: valor and bravery. White: purity and innocence. Blue: vigilance, perseverance, and justice.
Back in the day, red and blue dyes were cost effective as well so very easy to use

Jamaica and Mauritania are the only two flags without red, white or blue.

At least I think that’s true.

because, historically, the three cheapest dyes in for western countries were red, blue and (undyed) white.

so, most nations settled on some combination of those three colours, plus sometimes another colour if that was locally cheap as well.

Red, white and blue represent the political ideology of liberalism—similar to how red and yellow symbolize communism and red and black anarchism—and (classical) liberalism is the political ideology that has dominated most European countries since the Spring of Nations.

Cause that shit pops.  No shade but lowkey some shade the Chinese flag running with yellow on red ain’t it.  They need new colorways.

>Red, for the blood I’d spill to own it

>Yellow, for the Sun which shines my way

>And although I am leader of this country

>Blue, because I’d still have sad days

The red, white and blue combination is often a symbol of unity.

Many organisations, clubs and even businesses will have a dominant identity colour of either red or blue. When this happens, their rival will often choose the opposite. Think Coke is red, so Pepsi is blue.

When countries unify they often combine these colours on their flags to show unity amongst previously rival groups, and white is used to signify the peace between them (or to simply balance the flag design).
