Why do so many Northern Americans have so many allergies?

I live in Eastern Europe and not one singular person I know has allergies.

Americans seems to have a sensibility to everything, gluten, peanuts, all types of foods and substances.

Why is that?

Partially genetics: White people living in environments for the last 300y versus where they didn’t develop naturally. Personal experience: adopted; no original birth records. Before genetic testing they were able to deduce my genetic heritage because of the allergies I had (specific tree pollens as I remember) to species indigenous to N America that had no relative in the Netherlands, northern Germany. Given the message in this thread about Australia, that seems to fit.

And there are sooooo many people that want to be victims. People I know for certain claim allergies for attention and to get special treatment. Someone I know actually says that they have random allergies because insures they get fresh food. Bunch of loosers all over.
