Why do some 1080p videos in youtube looks just real, when others that are supposed to have the same quality and fps look awful??

I don’t get it truly, specially when people who make them is living out of it. A good camera is not that unaffordable, ain’t it?? Why there’s even people out there still making videos under 4k when they have hundreds of thousands or millions of subs?

The better the camera, the more settings there are and the more chance to f things up.

Lighting plays a huge role in the image quality.

Color grading also plays a huge role.

Some people don’t have the time nor the knowledge to deal with these things. Also depends on their demo, it’d look pretty weird for Cr1TiKaL to start making videos that looked super high production.

As for resolution, maybe they don’t want say 60fps and don’t want to shell out >$2000 for a newer high-end interchangeable lens camera that can do both 4K & 60fps. A Sony A7SIII costs money.

But for channels about photography/videography, tech, etc., you bet they have good gear (MKBHD probably having the most expensive setup). [Here’s a compilation of these YouTubers stating what gear they use](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrX-2EBdy5U).
