It’s like pure breed dogs. They’re likely to have genetic abnormalities and problems due to centuries of inbreeding to make them into whatever human beings want them to be. When you have centuries of genetic manipulation like that, forcing a biological entity into a specific path artificially, through selective breeding, you’re more likely to run into abnormalities.
