It all depends on how much the phone takes in and how much the power adapter is putting out. It (usually) has nothing to do with the OS, USB charging basically works the same way across all phones, including Apple’s. Different chargers put out different amounts of current (5V 1A, vs 5V 2.5A, resulting in power outputs of 5W and 12.5W respectively), and different phones have different charging circuitry designed to handle this input. If your phone’s charging circuitry can only handle 5V 1A, for example, its usually gonna take longer for your phone to start up going from 0%. Plugging in a higher wattage charger isn’t going to make a difference if, again, your phone will only take 5V 1A. It’s designed to take what it needs.
