Alright, I’m gonna cook some bacon, bake an egg, melt some cheese over it, and serve it on a bun.

Now again with those same ingredients, this time I’m gonna chuck em in a blender and serve it with a straw.

Doesn’t taste the same huh

Ever make chocolate chip cookies? everybody uses the same ingredients, yet there’s a ton of variation in taste and texture. More flour makes it more cake like, more sugar makes them flatter and harder, more butter makes the softer, etc. that’s before we get to cook times and temperatures. Lots going on there.

Let’s make lemonade. Your pitcher is 50/50 lemon juice and water and a cup of sugar. Mine is 98% lemon juice, 1% water, 1% sugar. We used the same ingredients but they will taste nothing alike.
