They are amphetamines and so make your heart rate blood pressure respiration body temp and CNS in general go up and part of that is your digestive system as they’re wired together in a way that is known as parasympathetic. Same reason that CNS depressants like opioids will bind you up terribly. Now, why alcohol makes you poo the next day, that’s a mystery to me as it is a depressant. Maybe because the system wants it purged?
