Why do things like pimples, zits, cyst, and bug-bites hurt to physically touch.

Bug-bites I somewhat get but at the same time I do not. These “wounds” are not caused by contusions so why does our body sense pain, and why is the pain so excruciating?

Your body releases hormones that fill the area with blood to speed healing. This causes swelling (inflammation) and causes the nerves to send pain signals.
