why do things that are bigger move more slowly?

I know the rules say “don’t literally explain it as if it’s a 5-year-old” but in this case I truly think the “dumbest” you can make the answer, the better

Newton’s 2nd Law of Motion: F = ma

If you want to accelerate an object with mass m, it’s gonna require a force F. If you increase the mass of the object but want to still accelerate the object at the same rate, then you will have to increase the force applied.
