Why do TV screens not look different seen from varying angles, unlike PC monitors?

IPS screen monitors don’t exhibit this effect. TFT monitors are the ones you’re thinking about. This is pretty generalized into and there are pros and cons to both, though things are changing up with modern LED/LCD technology.
