I’m doing a game download at the moment and my speed says 50mbps, however the actual download is going up by roughly 1mbps, just wondered how it actually works.
Internet speed is measured in bites per second. So, since 1byte is 8 bits. You get around 6.25MBps. that’s again divided into upload and download speeds. Then further divided by the number of devices connected to your network. You do the math
