At the very least you get very dehydrated, I assume next that your body starts draining water from all other forms of sustenance.

Once your body drains all this water , you probably get tired from all the work your body did and the low return on energy?

Honestly I think this is more of a personal thing for you, although I’m sure you aren’t alone. I’d assume it’s simply time from meal to meal. If you are out drinking you may not be eating as much and you may wake up later than normal, so your body needs sustenance.

Other than that I would say it’s likely due to your body trying to flush its system of toxins. All night while you drink you are becoming dehydrated and aren’t absorbing calories and nutrients correctly. Therefore your body in the morning is trying to replace those nutrient deficits.
