It’s a sign of happiness in many cultures, so you nod your head when you enjoy music. If you see someone listening to a song they don’t enjoy they usually keep their head still or slightly shake their head. My friend from India nods or bobbles his head when he listens to music he likes. Basically we use our body to express ourselves when we listen to music.
