Ok so you see we (humans) have water (water) composing most of our being. So, we need water in order for our organs (inside body parts) to function (work properly)
Basically chemical reactions occur in cells and water is a good medium for those to happen in. It is also used for bodily fluids and thus the trasport of substabces i think.
Water is good because it requires a lot of energy to raise its temperature, its ph is neutral, things can dissolve in it and its stable.
