Why do we still feel like we’re full after immediately throwing up/vomiting?

Fullness isn’t just related to things being physically in your stomach. There is also a bunch of hormonal/neurotransmitter action that tells your brain you’re full. I think that’s part of it.
Hunger is a chemical reaction in your brain. It is only tangentially related to what is (or is not) in your stomach.
