Why do we still have teeth? Why haven’t they been replaced by an artificial substitute?

With all the problems that teeth create I would assume that it’d make more sense to get rid of them and instead have something that will be easier to clean, replace and take care of.

Nothing is more ideal than keeping your natural teeth. Getting them pulled and getting dentures if it’s not absolutely necessary is a mistake. Healthy teeth and roots have a blood supply. When you lose teeth, you will have bone loss in your jaw.
