Why do we still have teeth? Why haven’t they been replaced by an artificial substitute?

With all the problems that teeth create I would assume that it’d make more sense to get rid of them and instead have something that will be easier to clean, replace and take care of.

Two reasons: people don’t want to have every tooth in their mouth pulled to get artificial teeth, and also tooth paste is a lot cheaper.
