Why do we still have teeth? Why haven’t they been replaced by an artificial substitute?

With all the problems that teeth create I would assume that it’d make more sense to get rid of them and instead have something that will be easier to clean, replace and take care of.

There are, they’re called dentures, and are more of a mess to clean and take care of than regular teeth. There’s also many possible complications that come from the surgery necessary to install them. So forcing everyone to do it is just silly, especially when you can just brush your teeth and be fine.
