You can start losing hair on the crown of your head first. I went bald from the top out – my hairline never really receded, just thinned out.

You don’t lose the hair on the sides and back of your head to standard male pattern baldness, so it can’t recede from your nape or anything like that if that’s what your asking. If you want to be fully bald, you need to shave the sides and back on a regular basis, or else you end up with the horshoe hair look
