Why does a totally different word come out of my mouth when I’m thinking of Something else? The other day I wanted to say something about blueberries and the word strawberry came out of my mouth; I didn’t realize it until someone else mentioned the strawberries.

It’s called semantic paraphasia, can’t really find a neurological cause of it though. I guess it’s sort of related to a Freudian slip though, where one word you’re intending to say makes you subconsciously think of something else that’s closely related, then because you’re focused on that rather than the word you originally intended to say you accidentally say it.
