I’ve seen an ear piercing that started out in the middle of the lobe and ended up working it’s way down so it looked like it was just held in by a thin bit of skin. Why and how does that happen?

Interesting question. I wonder if skin “tightening” cream would slow that process at all or if the damage is just done. I have seen this and my own is getting saggy lol as I age. I recently stopped wearing any earrings that hang but I’m old. What can you do. Nothing probably. Just stop wearing them before they rip all the way through I guess 🤷♀️
