why does any candy stored with that cheap bubblegum taste like it even though they are both wrapped?

The molecules of the aroma added to the bubblegum can leak (real word is diffuse) through the wrappers and diffuses in the other candies. Not all aromas can do that it depends on their quantity, molecular size, polarity (a characteristic of molecules to prefer fat or water) and the sensitivity of your nose to them.
