So I just upgraded my IPhone on finance and it made me wonder as it’s 0% and a 24 month agreement, what benefit does the bank have what’s in it for them if there’s no interest.

– Apple pays Barclay’s to offer financial products to Apple customers to help sell more phones.
– Barclay’s could collect fees later if you pay late etc.
– Barclay’s could co-sell more products to you- like opening a Barclay’s savings account!
