Hello,
When I do cardio my heart rate climbs twice to about 150-160bpm. People say that it’s actually good for your health and well being of heart. How does making the heart work twice as fast help it instead of hurting it?
Because stressing the body tells it to shape up and make itself more efficient. Why do muscles grow? Because they’re prompted by a very specific type of stress to grow. Same deal with any cardiovascular exercise (which lifting weights absolutely is)
