– Why does electric vehicle make way less noise than the ones running with gas?

Hi everyone, I’ve always wondered why electric vehicle are so silent, I guess it has to do with the type of engine that differs from vehicles running with gas but I really don’t know anything about mechanic sadly 😊

Apart from the constant explosions in an internal combustion engine that drives the drivetrain, remember that engines need air, fuel, oil, coolant and water. All of these need to be pumped around using various pumps and resevoirs, none of which are particularly quiet.
