– Why does electric vehicle make way less noise than the ones running with gas?

Hi everyone, I’ve always wondered why electric vehicle are so silent, I guess it has to do with the type of engine that differs from vehicles running with gas but I really don’t know anything about mechanic sadly 😊

Gas engine is causing 4-5 thousand small explosions every minute, to turn the pistons and generate power. That makes a lot of noise. An electric engine does not cause small explosions.
