Why does google know what word I’m typing but not spell check.

Question

I’ll type a word wrong and spell check won’t provide a correction or it will try and correct it to the wrong word. But if I copy and paste the misspelled word into google it will always correct it to the word I was trying to type.

Spell check uses the dictionary to try to figure out wtf you were trying to type.

Google has a metric fuck ton of searches every day, so they can go back in their history and realize, yeah the thousands of other people making this typo were looking for this.
