Also, boiled water will be kept in a container where the molecules are close together with less surface available for heat transfer. Hot water in a pipe has a greater area for heat transfer through the pipe, given the same volume of water.

The maximum storage temperature of a water tank is 120°F and water doesn’t start boiling until 205°F so basically your tap will never be close to as hot as boiling water

Boiled water should be 100 degrees Celsius

Hot water from tap is roughly 55-75 degrees (dependent on thermostat)
