Why does it disturb the healing when we pop our acne, but it’s fine when dermatologists extract it for us?

TIL that most people actually pop pimples by just squeezing them, rather than poking them with a pin and then squeezing them.

I guess that’s why I didn’t end up with acne scars despite having horrific acne that I wouldn’t leave alone.
