Why does liquids stay colder longer in Yeti’s

It seems like I can have ice cold water for 12+ hours in my yeti, but a glass of water will reach room temperate in a matter of a few hours

The inside of the Yeti is actually a vacuum. So the only way for heat to enter is through the lip of the bottle or the surface of the water. That’s a lot less than the entire surface of a regular glass, so it holds its temperature longer.
