Why does sometimes more of a certain solute in a solvent increase the solubility of another solute in the same solvent?

Water + salt + Escitalpram = completely soluble

Water acts like a magnet. Salt acts like a stronger magnet. The escitalopram is attracted to the magnets, but weakly. So you need a strong magnet to dissolve it all.
