Why does sunlight reflected off a mirror and through a prism not affect the visible light spectrum?

Why do I see the same ROYGBIV pattern as sunlight passing through the prism and not VIBGYOR if the mirror creates a specular reflection?

The prism bends different colors different amounts, that’s where the separation comes from. If you put the mirror before that, you’ll still get the same spread coming out of the prism. If you put the mirror after the prism, each color will bounce off at the same angle it hits the mirror.
