Why does the body become more sensitive when we are sick?

I’d like to know as well, but I don’t think everyone gets that sensation. A migraine med does it to me as well. If I take an Imitrex and an hour later get in the shower, it feels like razor blades running down my back. I asked a nurse about it once, and compared it to the part of a cold when you’re really sick and even having a blanket rub against your skin is painful. She said that the only other person she’s heard say that was her husband and she thought he was just being dramatic.

TL;DR I get that too and have also wondered the same thing.
