Why does the streaming service and video game console industry have titles exclusive to one platform while most music is available on most music platforms?

Music business model is all about reproductions, artist popularity, royalties (charging for using the music for promotional reasons, like adds) and ticket sales. It is very hard at this point to push hardware through exclusivity, although there are platforms with exclusive catalogs.
Consoles are very expensive to build and costumers are very loyal to the brand they choose, so exclusive games help persuade costumers to pick -and stick- to an specific manufacturer though their lifetime as players, for as many generations of consoles as posible.
