Why front wind is bad for planes?

I just don’t understand. Whole purpose of engines is to push the plane and get the air under and top of wings, right? So we already have air coming to plane, why is it bad?

A plane needs to go forward and maintain lift. A headwind might provide more lift, but it will slow your forward motion.
