Flight or fight response from evolution. Makes sense. If we see a tiger the initial reaction shouldn’t be too walk up and pet it.
Stressor= the amygdala in brain sends a distress signal, and hypothalamus activates the nervous system by sending signals through the nerves to the adrenals that produce epinephrine .
