Why humans are the only species who get wonky teeth and require orthodontic treatment??

Our ancestors had larger ape like jaws for chewing vegetation. As we eveolved for a more omnviorus diet our jaw shrank but the number of teeth stayed the same leaving us with overcrowded jaws.
