Why is π important?

In: Mathematics

Pi is the ratio between every circle’s circumference and its diameter.

Turns out that circles, circular stuff and cyclic stuff appear all over math. Because of this, [Pi appears in various formula](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_formulae_involving_%CF%80) in math and physics, even in fields that don’t appear to be directly related to circles.

It makes things much easier for calculations, engineers use it for calculating sizes of circles to make sure everything fits, for making cars and bikes and stuff, it’s basicly there to help you with your calculations
