Why is blood considered as a tissue yet it is made up/ contains different types of cells?

Every tissue contains different types of cells. The brain has neurons (many different types), and non-neuronal cells like astrocytes and oligodendrocytes. The heart has cardiomyocytes, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, and more. A tissue is a collection of cells that work together to perform a function, but those cells aren’t all the same kind of cell.
Who considers blood to be tissue? I thought tissue was things like skin and muscles.
You just answered your own question. A tissue is a group of cell types that come together to perform a function. It doesnt mean all cells have to be the same and have to perform the same task.
