Cellophane is so thin and flimsy. What makes the wrapper on my Ritz crackers crackle and crinkle like a firework?

I would eat more chips if the bags did not make so much noise. As it is my kid would come running so I just … don’t.
Dogs will sleep through an earthquake but not the opening of a wrapper like this…so annoying.
