Why is it easier for some to learn new languages through music?

I’m the kind of person who has an easier time learning new languages through music and song rather than just reading a book or taking a class. Can anyone explain how this works?

Repetition is the key to learning. You are likely to listen to a song much more often than you would read the same chapter of a book.
