I’ve been working at McDonald’s for almost 9 months now, and any shifts longer than 4 hours, my feet start to hurt.
I am overweight, Last time I checked it was 230lbs. But I have heard of similar complaints from coworkers and people online.
Is it the case of too much of a good thing? (Being active and about)

Weight is a big part of it. You don’t say how overweight you are. 230 could be ok if you’re a big guy. I lost over 100 and now weigh 220 which is a comfortable weight for me and my feet and knees are much better. Watch your posture also. Keep your shoulders back, and bend your knees a little if standing in place a long time. For me it’s a lot better to move around than it is to stand in place.
