Why is it so much harder rot blow up the long straight balloons than the round ones?

because the round ones expand in all directions but the long ones expand in mostly only one direction which takes way more energy to stretch the plastic

also all parts of a round balloon stretch at the same time, the long bois start with one end, always only stretching one smaller fraction, which reduces the needed energy as well
