Why is it that even after so much advancement in passport and registration systems for people, it’s still not that difficult to get in or out of countries with fake passports?

As the title suggests, now even if there are government databases that store one’s essential data. Everything being connected, it’s still not that difficult to get in or out using fake passports?

Are you basing this off of some sort of real world data? Or movie tropes?

But in general, the most likely reason would be that unless you’re at a high risk or security entry point, it’s just some barely above minimum wage “security officer” looking at your documents. Not some highly trained specialist or high tech device capable of spotting decent forgeries easily

But, I still feel like your question is based off of movie or TV depictions of people using fake passports than any real life data
