E.g computers, Wi-Fi routers, tvs, consoles. All these items malfunction every once in while and all I do is turn them off then on again to get them working again. Why?

You know when you go to sleep and your mum/dad tidy all of your toys away so that when you wake up again everything is back where you want it and you can find your toys again?
That’s what turning things off and on again is like, everything gets cleaned up and put back in its place.
