Why is it that when you injure a body part, its so much easier to hurt it again after years?

I broke my right wrist when I was a kid. Now it is still MUCH easier to hurt my right arm than my left. Isnt the injury completely healed?

Bone fractures don’t exactly fully heal ever. Think about how a significant cut can cause scarring on healing, bones are similar.
